HIV Civil Suits Rejected By Kink
Two porn stars who allege that they contracted the HIV virus during shoots for Kink.com have had their civil suits dismissed out of hand by the BDSM and bondage porn studio.
Cameron Bay and Rod Daily claim that unsafe working practices and on-set negligence led to their infection, but Kink have denied that such infections could have taken place on their sets, according to XBiz.
In fact, it’s interesting how strongly Kink have denied these allegations and have also taken the opportunity to criticise the lawsuits, alleging that Bay and Daily are political pawns being used by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation’s current head Michael Weinstein.
They also took the opportunity to ask the group to dismiss Weinstein as head and to stop treating the virus as a “political weapon” and “rhetorical device”.
There could be plenty more to this story and it’s certainly one to keep an eye on in the coming months.
