Is There Life After Porn?

Salon have written an article loosely related to statements by Bree Olson has made urging women not to join the porn industry.
It’s a really well written and researched piece, this, and there’s no question that there are some really good points made here. But I still think Olson’s statements are being misunderstood.
Her issues with porn have been her treatment AFTER she left the industry. Her attempts to transition to a ‘regular’ life have been met by abuse and oppression, and I feel her main point is that attitudes need to change so that others can make the transition without trouble.
It’s one thing that the porn industry has a responsibility to address and has yet to do so.
