Porn ‘Public Health’ Debate Spreads To New Zealand

April 13, 2017, by Steve

The branding of porn as a ‘public health’ concern has been a hot and worrying topic across certain parts of the United States over the past few months – but the debate is spreading to areas far, far away too.

For over in New Zealand, politicians from both sides of the political spectrum have joined forces to start a debate on the subject, with over 22,000 people signing a petition calling for an inquiry into porn – and that’s quite a big number by New Zealand population standards.

What does concern me about this whole thing is that you can’t just blame the usual right-wing ignorance on this because there’s just as much coming from the left too. That’s why this is a subject which porn really does need to have a say on and fast.
