You don’t often find incisive and accurate opinion on the porn industry in The New York Times, but is there that Fleshbot blogger Lux Alptraum has written a marvellous article about misconceptions the American public still hold about porn.
To be honest, a lot of the points she makes here could easily be applied to many countries in the west especially, particularly the United Kingdom, and they are not exclusive to America.
But more than anywhere else, America seems to have this ridiculous never-ending conflict going on within itself about porn – and as Alptraum’s article suggests, it’s a conflict that doesn’t need to exist at all.
