Producers Hit Back After Patreon Porn Ban

The devastating news to many porn producers and performers this week that Patreon were now no longer going to accept the sale or advertisement of pornographic or sexual content on their service has drawn a deservedly heated response.
Especially so in light of Patreon’s response, that they were merely highlighting and clarifying a previous policy. This has drawn a furious reaction especially – and justifiably so. Why suddenly the lack of lenience on this subject?
At a time when pornography is feeling the squeeze from all sides, to lose one of its most reliable allies is a huge blow to so many. I doubt they will reverse their decision, but if they don’t then many may not recover from this.
