There’s something peculiar about this story.
It’s not that I would like to be seen to be defending Damian Green, because he’s a truly vile politician with some reprehensible views.
But exactly why is he being bundled in with the group of politicians who are rightly being investigated for their alleged sexual misconduct.
Some porn on a computer is not sexual misconduct. It’s the act of a grown human being, even if he denies it or not. Lumping this sort of thing in with something more horrendous is just bad all round.
