UK Porn Regulation Board Unable To Provide New System Details
So it’s just a few weeks until porn viewers in the UK will be required to provide proof of their age if they want to view any porn sites – and the board in charge of it all still hasn’t been able to provide details of how it will work.
The BBC reports that the BBFC nor the government have been unable to provide details about the controversial system that many independent porn producers in the UK fear will put them out of business.
It’s an absolute farce from start to finish, this whole system. We’re less than a month away and nobody knows how this will work. Porn companies are having to develop their own systems to get such age verification and if they suddenly decide to scrap this then said companies will have spent money on this for no reason. Ridiculous.
