Lawyers on behalf of the parent company of the admittedly fabulous X-Art have filed no less than 89 copyright infringement suits in New York courts alone as they attempt a clampdown on what they claim are repeats offenders. Critics have hit back at them, suggesting their strong-arm tactics are nothing more than bullying against online porn consumers.
But with an alleged total of over 80,000 illegal downloads taken from the site every month, you can understand why they’re so irate. Not sure why they’re so annoyed at New Yorkers though – maybe they’re Red Sox fans?
