The recently appointed director of sexual health and advocacy at Kink, Eric Paul Leue, yesterday published an article where he warned of an outbreak of ocular syphilis in the United States.
The announcement was made as part of an ongoing agreement between the porn industry and public health departments to raise awareness of sexual illnesses.
I spend a lot of time on this blog reporting on the latest ways in which the porn industry is being blamed for something or other, usually wrongly, so it’s great to report on something positive that surely everyone would agree the porn industry is doing a good thing for.
Of course, there’s no mention of Leue’s post anywhere in the mainstream media. But you can bet your bottom dollar that if there was a pornstar infected with this disease, you would never hear the end of it.
