This is an interesting one. Uproxx reports, thanks to a splendid review and analysis by the always awesome Dr. Chauntelle Tibbals, that a model called Gia Moore has released dual male and female perfumes that are alleged to contain pheromones.
The actual science behind pheromones, as Dr. Chauntelle points out in the article, is quite complicated and has led to differing views from different scientists and analysts.
I guess it would be pretty easy for a scientist to grab a couple of bottles of this stuff and do tests on it to find out if it does actually contain any pheromones – although as she also points out, even the very notion of pheromones in humans is a controversial topic in itself.
So Gia Moore could have hit on something that takes advantage of the scrum of opinions on this subject that might end up being a big seller – although Dr. Chauntelle does suggest that one of the scents is rather “heavy going” so maybe Moore might want to work on it a little! (Ultram)
This does all remind me of an episode of the classic British sitcom Bottom though, if you ask me. I wonder how well G For Ladies and G For Men will be reviewed in the Karachi Medical Gazette?
