Google To Exclude Revenge Porn From Future Searches

Google have announced that they will now be eliminating all instances of revenge porn postings from their search engine’s searches in future.

This is the latest major step from an internet powerhouse in an attempt to stamp out revenge porn. It follows on from moves by Facebook, Twitter, Reddit and other sites, as well as laws that have now been passed in 21 different US states against such material.

I would sound a note of caution against these moves in that some content may be removed that does not belong under this banner, but it’s obviously a huge step and will hopefully not be the last such step in eliminating such material.
