Kacey Jordan ‘Unsurprised’ By Charlie Sheen Revelations

Charlie Sheen’s revelation about his HIV positive status is unsurprisingly dominating news both in porn and in the mainstream and, subsequently, this blog as well.
But there is certainly a lot of stuff being written and said about the situation that deserves to be talked about. One of the people who have come out and publicly supported Sheen is Kacey Jordan and she has been speaking to The Daily Mail.
While it’s a shame she couldn’t have spoken to a reputable newspaper, some of the things she says don’t really surprise me at all. While I spoke earlier in the week about the likelihood that porn was going to be blamed and shamed for this news, there are other fears that come out.
The potential for transphobia, which I’m in no way accusing Jordan of here, is also rampant as it’s suggested that Sheen had relationships with transsexual porn stars.
So often an easy target when HIV breakouts in the industry are reported, one hopes such easy criticisms are not seen in the mainstream media. But I’m not holding out much hope.
