Porn Star Adriana Chechik Breaks Back at Twitch Con San Diego
New Twitch streamer, porn star Adriana Chechik, attended the Twitch Con in San Diego over this past weekend (October 7-10, 2022). Unfortunately, the event ended early for this adult star when she injured her back in a foam pit.
The Foam Pit
In a Twitch Con partnership, Lenovo (pg and laptop company) and Intel (chip manufacturer) created a foam pit allowing streamers to face off in gladiator style. The streamers got up on raised platforms in order to try to knock each other off with long foam poles.
After their bouts, the winner would jump into the pit.
However, there seems to have been something wrong with the pit as several participants took to social media to talk about their injuries. Of course, the injury that social media and Twitch fans are talking about is the one that porn star Adriana Checkik allegedly has suffered.

In this video, captured by a Twitch Con attendee, Adriana is seen jumping off her raised platform in style. At first it looks like she landed, bounced and was laughing about it however if you keep watching it appears that she’s in some kind of pain.
This video was taken during Saturday. On Sunday, Adriana took to twitter to inform her concerned fans that she had broken her back in two places and will be having to have surgery.
Social Media’s Reaction to Adriana’s Industry
As a streamer myself, it’s no surprise that the trolls came out of the woodwork when the news got out about Adriana’s injury. There are some very unkind and immature people in the world. Here are some examples:
No dude, your back doesn’t spontaneously break if you have a lot of sex. You’d have to have some pretty dangerous and rough sex to get it to break.
And of course a few other streamers reported it and there were plenty of these comments.
No, if you stream on Twitch you’re a Twitch streamer. Your day time profession really doesn’t matter. She may (or may not) end up being a professional gaming streamer, but she’s playing games and streaming on Twitch she’s a Twitch streamer.
The Conclusion of the Foam Pit Drama
Aside from generating plenty of memes on Twitter, there doesn’t seem to be any official word from Lenovo or Intel about the situation.
There are plenty of accusations going around that the foam pit was set up incorrectly. It was not deep enough and the operators were allowing participants to “dive” into it. Also, the foam pit was never shut down after Adriana’s injury and it continued to operate during Sunday as well.
