Lacey Amour Among 28 Performers Thrown Out of UK Hotel

January 18, 2023, by Steve

There have been numerous stories over the years of porn stars and adult performers being kicked out of places or even arrested for shooting content in places that are less than pleased by their patronage.

But the story that a group of 28 adult performers had been kicked out of a UK hotel after paying for a number of rooms with a view to shooting content has sparked a debate about whether the decision was the correct one or not.

Lacey Amour, one of the performers removed, remarked: “We face injustice and discrimination that other industries don’t.”

Which is not untrue. However, Travelodge’s rules clearly state that their rooms cannot be used for the purposes of making personal profits. But just how many times have we seen hotel rooms used in porn over the decades and why was this example a particularly egregious one to them?

It’s been suggested that some filming had taken place in public corridors and lifts, which may have caught the attention of management and that the group should have taken more care not to be caught. Which I agree with to a degree.

However, once they book their rooms, what harm are they doing? As long as they stick to their rooms, who exactly are they affecting with their work?
