New Gaspar Noe ‘Porn’ Film Receives Mixed Reviews

Even as a self-professed film nerd and as someone who doesn’t mind indulging in the occasional pretentious arthouse European movie, I’ve steered clear of Gaspar Noe’s films thus far.
They just sound a little bit too experimental and forcefully weird for my liking. I doubt I will change my mind for his current release, Love, a 3D film that features some of the most graphic sex scenes ever seen in a mainstream film.
The fact that it’s 134 minutes long is an immediate problem as I start to struggle with anything longer than about 90. And, as is suggested in this scathing review, it doesn’t really have much else of interest aside from the sex scenes.
Yeah. I’ll stick with proper porn, thanks.
