Porn Blamed For ‘Murdering Of Moral Characters’
Now I don’t normally want to give the oxygen of publicity to people who have such a rampantly anti-porn stance that they will blame literally all the ills of society on it.
But I also think, from time to time, that we should sit down and listen to the views of such people so we can see just how much we have to do, as pro-porn people, to try and offer a reasoned counterpoint to such arguments.
Take this article, which I stumbled across this morning. Alarm bells start ringing immediately when you read the headline but it hardly gets better from there on in.
The author is a more dangerous kind of specimen though. Clearly a talented writer with a great eye for rhetoric that doesn’t border on the hysterical, you can see why people like this would catch the eye of so many.
At the same time, when you’re blaming porn for more and more Christians accepting same sex marriage, I think it’s safe to say you’re not someone I want to share an elevator with.
