Russian Media Watchdog Bans PornHub And YouPorn

The Russian media regulator Roskomnadzor has taken the decision to ban users in its country from accessing the popular tube sites YouPorn and PornHub, according to the BBC.
It has been suggested that the ban has been made in an attempt to promote and protect Russian porn producers and companies, which is a theory that isn’t as crackpot as you might think it is.
However, the ban is a significant one nonetheless that is likely to hit the sites’ traffic significantly. As for the suggestion by the watchdog that people bemoaning the ban should go out and meet real people – where the fun in that?!
