Aussie Porn Access Threatened By New Piracy Laws

June 24, 2015, by Steve

Australia has always, seemingly, been quite strict when it comes to censorship and the recent clampdown and blanket ban on piracy sites such as The Pirate Bay has been the latest example of this.

But as this article points out, the Christian right may well use this ban as an excuse to try and force through a ban on all porn sites, and there does seem to be some suggestion that they could be successful with such a push.

It is certainly not a great time for the porn industry with the recent ‘extreme’ porn ban on productions in the UK and extraordinary legislation about to be enforced against porn productions in California. Such a ban would certainly put more pressure on the industry, and not in a good way.
