It was a good few months ago when I first blogged about the ridiculous suggestion coming out of Utah that politicians in the state were trying to get porn declared a public health hazard.

But here we are, a few months on, and this story hasn’t gone away. On the contrary, it’s now headline news as governor Gary Herbert, who to the amazement of absolutely nobody is a Republican, pushes through a resolution to combat the “sexually toxic environment” caused by porn.

You can read the resolution here, but I would only recommend reading it if you don’t mind being made particularly angry today. Because that is what’s going to happen.

Here’s hoping that this all does eventually go away, but it’s not looking too positive right now.
