Repiblicans Express ‘Concern’ Over Party’s Anti-Porn Stance

July 22, 2016, by Steve

While the Republican Party took the unsurprising step of following Utah by proclaiming porn as a public health hazard, it seems that may figures in the party are concerned about such a step.

As reported on Reason, a number of delegates stated they were unsure about taking such a step as they felt it went against the concept of the party’s belief in ‘limited government’.

Indeed, rejecting the ‘laissez-faire’ approach that the party likes by severely restricting and criticising porn usage does seem to be a major contradiction for the Republicans.

Some also stated that the industry is simply too big to police and tackle. But don’t think this will result in a softening in a stance – after all, since when has that party cared about making itself look contradictory to its own alleged stances?
