Indian Wi-Fi Mostly Used For Porn

OK, it’s a headline that might not prove to be too revelatory, but this story about how Indians are mostly using public Wi-Fi hotspots to look at porn has some wider issues.
For a start, either Indian companies have been naive or liberal with allowing the viewing of porn of Wi-Fi. Considering attempts over the last year to widely censor internet porn, it would be strange if it was the latter.
If it is naivety, then what?! Did they really think this wouldn’t happen? People were using public internet kiosks to watch porn in full view of busy streets in New York City before they shut them down – of course they were going to use it for this purpose!
