Apple CEO Relaxes Company’s Stance On Porn

Apple founder Steve Jobs was renowned, among one or two things, for insisting that the company’s devices be kept free of porn, even going as far to say that the company had a “moral responsibility” to keep porn off iPhones.

But current Apple CEO Tim Cook doesn’t care if you look at porn on your iPhone. Quite right, too. Jobs’ conservative stance on porn was a mindless denial of the rights of grown men and women to use their technology as they see fit.

Mind you, I doubt many people listened to Jobs on the subject anyway. Still, it’s nice to hear one of the most important figures in technology going public with a relaxed opinion on porn.
