Cannes ‘Porn’ Film Causes ‘Brawls’
A typically hysterical report by The Daily Mail reports that the latest film by controversial movie director Gaspar Noe has sparked ‘brawls’ as crowds at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival try to catch a viewing of it.
I’d like to see how a brawl at Cannes would look, personally. Even so, this new film has got tongues wagging, as you can understand from seeing the amazingly explicit teaser poster above.
It allegedly features lots of unsimulated and hardcore sex scenes, many ejaculations and all kinds of other rudeness. You do have to ask at what point it stops being porn and where it starts being ‘mainstream art’.
Personally I hate Noe’s films. If I want to watch porn then, well, there’s quite a lot out there! Even so, it’s fun watching people get their knickers in a twist over this kind of thing, so keep the brawls going!
