The website Refinery29 has been writing some great stuff about the porn industry lately, and really does manage to nail down the industry without the condescending attitude that you get from many mainstream sites.
This latest article is a superb one too about the ‘ethics’ of watching porn and, basically, why you should be paying for porn – or at least for certain types of porn.
It also looks at the different payment models that some sites are using now and also speaks to some leading female figures in the industry – Stoya, most notably – about what they are doing to make porn easier on the bank balance.
Why is that the female side of the industry seems to be more forward-thinking about this subject than the male side? All the more reason for the rise of feminist porn to continue apace.
